Alaska 2015
The trip of a lifetime is finally approaching. After extended drama surrounding the feasibility of the trip I am finally 24 hours away from heading north west to Alaska via Seattle. The first leg of the trip with fisherman Matt is NYC to Seattle. This will be my first time in Seattle. We will do a 2 day shakedown before heading into the Alaska wilderness. It will most likely entail some hiking, fishing, and good eating. After getting accustom to being that far left in the world we will shoot up to Anchorage for a late night arrival before he hop on a sea plane in the morning for the rushing salmon rich Lake Creek in Skwentna, AK.

Mother’s Day Weekend In East Hampton
A few traditions have come about over the years and one of my favorites is mother’s day weekend in East Hampton. A few things always make the list, work on the gardens, plant some vegetables, and get the boat in the water. This year the update to the gardens was a ‘Lettuce Table’. Bob and I collected some scraps from the garage and used the gas line table base from last summer to pull together what turned out to be a spectacular project.
