I am working on building a Shadow Box Frame for a painting we got from Katies brother Kiley. being that the frame is going to be very large, my plan is to build a smaller version first to test my technique and confirm I am using the proper materials. So far I have successfully cut 45 degree angles but have no idea how to fasten the corner joints without a nail gun. Youtube is my friend. that being said I am thankful that this is just a test. I will also have to wait for my table saw to 1: rip a channel for the back board 2: trim the poplar I am using. Now that it is boxed up it is clear it is a bit too thick.
